I am sorry that I didn't get to visit everyone while we were in California. It seemed like it went so fast. We were busy everyday. I hope no one is mad!
This is Sammy brushing his teeth before leaving for California. We are in for a 30 hour trip south on Amtrak. We were so excited. Below is a little about our trip. Sorry it took so long to get it posted. Keep going to older posted button at the bottom of the page to see more. When you get to Zoe you have seen all the pictures from our trip. I will try to get better at posting more often but, I start school on Monday!

Thank you Lori for letting us stay with you. We had a great time and miss you so much already.

This was Sammy at Lori's house. I think is the first morning after we got to California. This is where we started our journey. The next day we went to Morgan to see everyone. We sat in the Staff Room and got to see so many people that I worked with for the 16 years I was at Morgan. It was great to see them all. They were some of the people that saw me through so many things in my life. I really wish they could move to Oregon and teach with me. You don't realize how much you miss people until you go back and visit them after leaving. Boy do I miss them! I even forgot to take pictures I was so excited to see them.
This is at the Kindergaten Graduation at Warner (SP) the new school in Rialto. I knew almost all the teachers in the Kindergarten group except one. I went the day before but didn't get to visit them all, so I had to go back and visit with them. This is Catherine and Sullivan (sorry if it is spelled wrong). She worked at Morgan and then moved after the baby was born to be able to job share. It was great to see them all.
Liz and Megan! I worked with Liz for all 16 years at Morgan. Megan was my student teacher the year after having Sammy.

Monica was at Morgan for many years and then she moved to other schools in the District. This is her little baby Chelsea that I remember before she was born. ( In monica's tummy) She is so beautiful and grown up!
We went to Claim Jumper for Dinner with friends from Morgan. It was so nice to see everyone. Sammy and Zoe had fun talking at the end of the table. Look at the last picture and you will see them sharing a Hot Fudge Sundae. Thanks for Dinner Pam. Thanks for coming everyone!

I miss these guys so much. I wish you all could move to Oregon. It is so beautiful here.

Ignore the fact that Lori and I gained weight. (we know that) This is Lori, Sammy and I at our favorite hangout. Golden Spoon We used to go to Golden Spoon at least once a week while Lori and I were working on our Masters the year before we moved. Boy do we miss having a Golden Spoon. Oregon doesn't have them. So while we were visiting I think we went three no maybe four times!
I took Sammy by all the houses that we lived in since he was born. He really wanted to knock on the door and ask to see the houses especially the one in Banning. He wanted to see if they painted over the Peter Rabbit room that Doug painted for us. Then the Applewood House in Colton and last the Highland house that the Bank now owns.

It was very weird to see them all. I still loved the 1st house the Banning house the best. It was just so far away from were we did everything.
It was Brittany and David's Baby Shower. I messed up again. Read below and you will know what this pictures are from. Sorry!

This was at the baby shower. I got them out of order, so if you keep reading you will understand. Sabrina and Jakob I can't believe I didn't get a better picture! I should have let Sammy do it. Brittany, Sabrina and Lucy were all teachers at Sammy's Day Care he went to. He started there when he was 4 or 5 months old. He didn't leave until 5 years old. So they are a very big part of his life. We were so happy to see them. Hailey as been Sammy's friend almost his whole life 7 years is along time. It was very weird when we moved not to have them at is birthday parties or not go to the parties they had. Hailey and Sammy had so much fun at the park.
The first Saturday after we got to California was Brittany's Baby Shower. I was so excited that it was at such a prefect time that we got to go. Sammy and I loved seeing Mulberry Day Care people. They don't work there anymore but that is how we know them.

We got to Karen and Bobby's house early and Sammy had a great time showing them all his Monster trucks, cars, and stuffed animal that he brought over to play with. Each one at a time and he had to explain them all. They were very nice to listen to him about them all. This is Max there dog. He is so cute but, he is getting old. Sammy had to have a picture of Max.

We went to my sister Karen's house for a BBQ. It was nice to see family. My sister Wanda, cousin Lynne her husband Tim and son Daniel were there too. Sammy remember them after they started talking. We had a fun time. It was so HOT that we stayed in the air conditioned house. Daniel and Sammy played on the computer and then Sammy ened up watching a show with Bobby.

Patrick took us to John's Incredible Pizza. We had a blast! We were there for hours. We really loved to play the Deal or No Deal game. We won many many tickets (for Sammyof course).

I think we ended up with 1,200 tickets from the whole night. Sammy was amazed that it was so late when we left. It was so much fun. Thanks Patrick!

We spent the day with Teresa and Josie. We had fun swimming in her boyfriend's pool. I can't believe how big Josie is. She really loved seeing Sammy. Sammy isn't used to a little girl wanting him to do everything with her. He was a little overwhelmed at first but, he got better as the day went on. He sat down and read her a book it was so cute.

Sammy took this picture! He is good at it.

We met David and Bill at Claim Jumper in Costa Mesa? Not sure We haven't seen them for a few years before we moved, because they moved to Ocean Beach. It was so great to see them. They are like big brothers to me. It was wonderful to visit with them. I think Sammy has an airplane in his hand. He always brings something to entertain himself. He was so busy talking he didn't play with it much. He didn't get that out going personality from me!

We went to my Cousin's house for the 4th of July week-end. Sammy ended up in Urgent Care with a very BAD sore throat and a temp of 102.8. Scared me! He also was very quiet (which if you know Sammy he is always talking) (unless he is sleeping). He had to take Azithromycin for 5 days.
After missing the 4th of July pool party because he was sick. On Sunday before going back to stay at Lori's we went to the Summit Pool in Fontana. We had fun but it was HOT!

I was so worried about Sammy the whole week-end I didn't get any pictures of my Cousin Lynne, her husband Tim or their son Daniel. Sorry guys!
We met Winnie (my 1st grade teacher) at Friday's for lunch. It was a very good visit.

Picture of us before we left.
More pictures from the Olive Garden. Sammy eating Choc. Cheesecake.

Auntie Wanda and Sammy and his two guys!

Dinner with My sisters Wanda and Karen.
We went to Olive Garden. Not a great picture!
We went to visit Dave, Margaret, Alex and Doug.

We ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a very nice visit.
Alex couldn't have lunch with us. So I didn't get any pictures of him.

Sammy not wanting to get up!

China is a nice dog. She wanted to sleep with Sammy and I at Lori's house. She got to sleep in the Living Room with us the last night we were there.

This is the Dodge Calibar that we rented for two weeks . Sammy got to pick it out of a row of three different cars and many colors. It is a nice little car.

We went to see Paul (my nephew) before heading to Lori's mom's house for swimming and spending the night. It was nice to see Paul again before we left for Oregon.
